Ecosafi Cooking Company, a venture-backed renewable energy clean cooking firm, is delivering an improved, cost-effective, and eco-friendly cooking solution. Our locally produced renewable pellets offer the hottest, quickest, and most affordable cooking fuel, providing the LPG experience at a lower cost than charcoal. We aim to bring joy to our customers' kitchens, helping them save money while contributing to environmental protection and climate change mitigation.

As a Kenyan company with Silicon Valley roots, we leverage cutting-edge tools to streamline our customer experience, from mobile cloud CRM to an all-electric delivery fleet. Cooking is often the primary source of CO2 emissions per household, and our goal is straightforward yet ambitious: eliminate the use of trees as a cooking fuel in Africa.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Acquire new customers by showcasing our innovative stove and fuel product in group demonstrations
  • Assist customers in understanding their monthly cooking energy expenses and illustrate how our product reduces costs
  • Educate new customers on using the stove in their homes, providing tips to enhance their cooking experience
  • Build strong, lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up with both new and existing clients
  • Prioritize all customers by addressing their inquiries in a friendly, professional manner that makes them feel appreciated
  • Document all customer interactions and sales in the company's database

Customer relations requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (diploma also accepted)
  • Demonstrated sales experience, ideally in a subscription-based or renewable energy sector
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the capacity to quickly establish rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Eagerness to acquire new skills
  • Knowledge of sales processes and dynamics
  • Certificate in sales/marketing or related fields (optional)
  • Proficiency in Swahili, English, and any additional local languages
  • Smartphone proficiency
  • Experience in renewable energy is a plus
